JAI #175: STAMPIN' UP!'S BEAUTIFULLY BAROQUE

This week's Just Add Ink challenge is to use this sketch as the basis for a card or other papercraft project:

I used the sketch to make a special milestone birthday card (the 'number' is stamped inside the card) for a dear friend who is a little partial to pink.

I was keen to use my new Beautifully Baroque embossing folder with Primrose Petals Core'dinations cardstock, so that was my starting point.  My trusty Color Coach tells me that Pink Pirouette pairs well with Primrose Petals, so I went with that!

Here's the card, featuring the lovely embossing folder and matching Beautifully Baroque stamp (one of my favourites from the new Stampin' Up! catalogue):

... and the inside, simply decorated, and ready to be written in:

Stamps: Beautifully Baroque, Label Love, Memorable Moments
Card: Crumb Cake, Primrose Petals Core'dinations, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake and Primrose Petals stampin' pads
Other: Beautifully Baroque embossing folder, sanding block, Basic Pearls and Large Basic Pearls, Beautiful Wings embosslits, In Color Dahlia, Artisan Label punch, sponge daubers, Pink Pirouette taffeta ribbon, Crochet Lace Trim, Labels Collection framelits, stampin' dimensionals

Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team's samples for this week's challenge - they are so beautiful.
