US #205: STAMPIN' UP! SUNSHINE & SPRINKLES BABY CARD

**This is my second post for today .... please scroll down to read all the latest news in the world of Stampin' Up!  Thank you! **

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week's challenge at Unscripted Sketches is to make a card based on this sketch:

I started off by choosing some cute chevron-patterned paper from Stampin' Up!'s Sunshine & Sprinkles pack.  The circular element I've used is a punched-out piece from another sheet in the same paper pack - sweet, don't you think?  The only stamping on my card, is the sentiment.

Stamps: Itty Bitty Banners
Card: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
DSP: Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper
Ink: Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist stampin' pads
Other: 2 1/2" Circle punch, Perfect Pennants Bigz die, Sweet Buttons embosslits, Bitty Banners framelits, Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack, Paper-piercing tool and Stampin' Pierce mat, sponge daubers, Daffodil Delight Seam binding and  1/4" stitched grosgrain, Cloudy Day embossing folder, glue dots

  1. Oh my goodness - that is so clever. You have certainly used the dsp to it's full potential. I will have to open the packets up and really look at them instead of just hoarding them.
Haven't worked out where you used the Pennants die yet.

  2. Mary, it's the scalloped circle behind the 2 1/2" circle. :)

  4. This is absolutely one of the sweetest baby cards I have seen. Of course I love these colors together but it is the expert way that you have combined the elements of your card in such a way that they are all in harmony with each other. Thank you so much for choosing our Unscripted Sketch to showcase your talent :)
