JAI #160 : STAMPIN' UP!'S SCENTSATIONAL SEASON

This week at Just Add Ink, we have a fabulous image provided by Trish, to inspire a card/other papercraft creation.

Be still, my (neutrals-loving!) beating heart!!  This photo collage evokes thoughts of snuggly textured blankets, hot chocolate, and gorgeous earthy colours.  To that end, this is what I came up with:

Stamps: Scentsational Season, Petite Pairs
Card: Crumb Cake, Naturals Ivory, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
DSP: Soft Suede and Crumb Cake Patterns Designer Series Papers
Ink: Crumb Cake and Early Espresso stampin' pads
Other: Top Note Bigz die, Square Lattice embossing folder, Holiday Collection framelits, Natural Trim ribbon, Naturals Designer Buttons, Neutrals brad, Linen Thread, 1" Square punch, Postage Stamp punch, sponge dauber, stampin' dimensionals, glue dots

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations ... everyone has interpreted this challenge differently, and there are some fabulous ideas from the team.  We hope you'll play along with us!

  8. This is adorable, Christine! Your card makes me want to go home and get snuggy on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa. Even though we are officially in the Spring season here in the US, we're still have the cool and rainy periods.

Love the patchwork and then the embossing to really highten the quilted feel. Very sweet!

  9. You've really captured the inspiration photo in your card! That top note piece just looks like a lovely warm quilt to snuggle up with, alongside a cup of hot cocoa. (It's cold here today and I'm feeling a bit wintry LOL!)

  10. Love the warming feel you have created with the elements on your card, Christine. It is pretty chilly where I am tonight and a quilt on the knees would be lovely.
